Hyundai i30N Decat Turbo-Downpipe (17-20) – Scorpion Exhausts

This product will cause your engine management light to come up. This can be removed with a stage 2 ECU remap. This product is for off-road use only and will fail an MOT.

If you’re looking to maximise the power output of your Hyundai I30N, then you must swap out the stock downpipe by Scorpion Red Power. The stock turbo-down pipe features a catalytic convertor that filters our harmful emissions produced by the engine. The downside is the catalytic convertor is extremely restrictive and is only designed to allow the stock airflow through.

When installing a Hyundai i30N remap software, the power is increased and in turn, the engine produces more gases. The stock downpipe saps power from the engine as it prevents it from working to its maximum efficiency. The scorpion Decat downpipe is a straight pipe that allows the gases to flow freely down the exhaust system. This results in more power and an amplified exhaust tone.

For an ultimate free-flowing system, you will want to replace the GPF, which acts as a secondary catalyst. In order to reach the maximum power potential, you will also need the Hyundai i30N GPF-Delete.
